We were privileged to
have her show us one of her beautiful books
(@ about 3 feet tall!).

These books (she has 3 volumes) were presented to the Queen as a gift from the Australian people. It took her 25 years to paint all 3 volumes.

She has gathered and painted all 70+ species of the "Banksia" genus...simply incredible detail.

The adventurous stories she told of how she had to go about gathering these botanicals, was so entertaining! She needs to pen a book on that alone! The cliffs, small plane rides into the bush, etc.
