Rome, Sweet, Rome!

This incredible, historical city really touched something deep down in my artist’s heart…really hard to put it into words…simply awe inspiring. We loved almost every second of our experience - the people, the climate, (the pastries *g*), the art, the history...if we had to complain, it would only be the traffic! Yikes, that was hair-raising!

The 5-day course in Rome consisted of 12 enthusiastic, eager, determined (fun!) painters - it was great getting to know them and how special they all are. It was a joyful week of painting...the difference in language was not too big of a barrier. *g* We learned several Italian words/phrases - with the help of our translator M.Laura; and it was nice also, that several of the girls knew some English (at varying levels). Sorry we didn’t know more Italian!

They painted 3 designs and did not complain tooooooo much at all the detail...thanks girls! *g*  I appreciate your efforts (and desire) to learn my techniques; I hope that you take with you the confidence to try many new designs. You did wonderful on your pieces and you should all be proud of your efforts!
