Something Special...

One of our Washington state students that has been traveling to all but one of our summer seminars, wrote this special poem for the group of gals that travel down with her every year to see us ...

"Just For You"

One more yearly migration
to see Jamie & Flo...
It is tough to choose
just one reason we go!
The painting's for certain
a treat and delight.
Yet, Flo's cooking...
Oh! We savor each bite!
Then there's the shopping...
we are seasoned professionals
Willing to endure
the "dear hubby" confessionals!
The stops are for painters
caravanning in care...
There could never be trunks
better packed than ours!
More important than shopping,
or painting...It's TRUE!
Are the friendships we treasure
and the ones we make
that are brand new!

I am so glad we are making this trip
together! This is a little something to
spark memories of all the fun we shared!
