ROASTIN’ AND GETTING TOASTY” (missing bird instructions):
Step 10 – Bird:
Shade the bird with Rookwood Red and then deepen with Black Plum. Highlight with the 8 flat and Gooseberry Pink. Use the liner and a brush mix of Rookwood Red + Gooseberry Pink to stroke some of the feathers on the bird, pick up a bit of Warm White on the dirty brush for the lightest areas. Float a side-load of Lamp Black around the beak. The beak is filled in with Yellow Ochre, separate the beak and shade next to the head with Raw Sienna. The eye is a dot of Lamp Black, add a tiny dot of Warm White for a highlight. Using the 8 flat and a side-load of Warm White, float small snow effects in and on the nest; have some of it dripping down onto the face of the snowman. (Add Snow Tex later, if desired, for a texture effect here.)
